Machine Operator – Day Shift | Smithfield

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
• Set up machines and make minor adjustments as required
• Monitor production output and maintain quality standards
• Read and follow production orders and specifications
• Conduct quality checks on finished products
• Assist with general factory and warehouse duties
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Report equipment faults and assist with basic troubleshooting

About You

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with steel, construction materials, concrete products, or similar industries highly regarded
• Mechanically minded with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
